WORKED

I’ve had an Alfred command since 2013 where I type `wiki something` which then opens Confluence and searches for `something`. I use this to quickly search our company wiki for terms without breaking my concentration and flow.

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: Creating a custom command to quickly search their company wiki without breaking concentration

WORKED

I’ve bought every upgrade ultimate pack whatever for Alfred.

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: Productivity/application launcher and automation tool

MIXED

I recently switched back to Alfred. I love both, and there are things I think Raycast does much better than Alfred, but ultimately I m not the target market for Raycast.

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: App launcher (as an alternative to Raycast)

WORKED

Alfred's is solid, especially stands out with `in` search.

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: File indexing and search, specifically using the 'in' search feature.

WORKED

I've yet to find another launcher that handles my most common actions quite as well (except maybe Alfred).

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: Implied general application launching and automation, used as a point of comparison.
