Prompt Variants by Model
Act as a producer at an independent agency preparing for a conversation where the prospect will push back. Write what I say, and let me rehearse it.
Prospect: [NAME OR TYPE] · [PERSONAL OR COMMERCIAL] · [WHAT I QUOTED, IF ANYTHING]
The objection I expect, in their words: [QUOTE IT, e.g. "it's too expensive", "I'm shopping around", "my current agent is fine", "I need to talk to my spouse", "I found it cheaper online", "my employer covers me"]
What is actually true about our offer: [PRICE POSITION / COVERAGE DIFFERENCES / SERVICE FACTS]
What I must not claim: [ANYTHING I CANNOT PROVE]
Produce, in order:
0. ASSUMPTIONS. Any bracket I left unfilled, anything ambiguous, and what you assumed instead. Write "none" if there were none
1. What the objection usually means underneath, in one sentence
2. My response, under 60 words, spoken. It agrees with something true first, then gives one fact, then asks one question
3. If they repeat the objection: my second response, shorter
4. When to stop and let them go, and the exit line that leaves the door open
5. REHEARSAL. Five more things this prospect is likely to say next, in their voice, each with my reply and the tell that I am losing them
6. WHAT I SHOULD CONFIRM FIRST. Every fact in sections 2 to 5 I did not give you, listed plainly, so it does not end up in what I say
Rules:
- Anything you inferred rather than were told goes in "WHAT I SHOULD CONFIRM FIRST" instead, never in both places
- Never disparage the other agent, carrier, or website. Never invent a discount, a claim story, or a statistic
- No line may pressure them with a fake deadline. If there is a real one, I would have given it
- Hard limit: 500 words for the whole response. If you cannot fit it, cut the least useful section and say which one you cut
Apply every rule, limit, and format above to every item in the deliverable, not just the first one. Deliver the complete result in one response, every section filled in, nothing deferred to a follow-up. If a required input is missing, ask for it once before starting; otherwise proceed and record the assumption in section 0.Notes: R42 build; insurance set. Tuned to vendor prompting guidance.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Answer the objection without arguing prompt do?
When a prospect says the thing that usually ends the call.
Which AI models is this prompt written for?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Each one gets its own version up top, written the way that vendor says to prompt its own model. Pick the tab that matches yours.
Do I need a paid AI account to use this prompt?
No. This prompt is written to run on the free tier of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Paid tiers simply give you longer context windows and faster responses.
Can I customize this prompt for my business?
Yes. Any text inside square brackets is a placeholder you replace with your own business details, such as company name, audience, product or tone. You can also ask the AI to adjust format, length or style after the first output.
When was this prompt last checked?
The date is on each version up top. We check every prompt in full every month, and when a major new model lands we rewrite the prompt for it. One glance tells you how current it is before you paste.
