The cold open should be a provocative statement or a story hook from the middle of the episode, not "Welcome to the show." Pull the most interesting 15-second moment and front-load it. Listeners decide in 30 seconds whether to stay.

Podcast: [NAME] in [NICHE] · topic [THIS EPISODE'S TOPIC] · format [SOLO/INTERVIEW/CO-HOSTED] · guest [NAME, TITLE — or "solo"] · listener [WHO AND WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT] · length [20/30/45/60 MINUTES] · tone [DESCRIBE] · key takeaway [ONE THING TO REMEMBER]
Guest bio and links [PASTE THE GUEST'S OWN BIO AND LINKS, or NONE]
Produce:
1. 3 title options with curiosity hooks
2. Cold open (30 sec) — a provocative hook, not a welcome
3. Full outline with timestamps, segment titles, talking points, transitions
4. Interview questions (if guest) — 10-12: ice-breaker, deep-dive, challenge, rapid-fire
5. Show notes — 150-word summary, timestamps, resources, guest bio, 5 SEO keywords
6. 3 social clip picks — timestamp, why it stands alone, caption
7. Newsletter recap (200 words) — summary, key quote, listen CTA
This plan is written before recording. Use the guest bio and links as I pasted them; for an episode with a guest and no bio pasted, the bio reads "ADD GUEST BIO". The key quote in step 7 and the three clip picks in step 6 cannot be known yet, so write each as a slot to fill from the recording: where in the outline it is most likely to come and what to listen for. Put no words in the guest's mouth that they have not said.
Success means the timestamps sum to the episode length and every deliverable points back to the same key takeaway.
Match the tone I specified above exactly; where I gave none, write plainly and warmly, the way a good operator talks to a customer — no corporate filler, no hedging phrases.
Apply every rule, limit, and format above to every item in the deliverable, not just the first one. Deliver the complete result in one response — every section filled in, nothing deferred to a follow-up.
If a required input is missing, ask for it once before starting; otherwise proceed and label any assumption you made.Notes: R40 refresh; tuned to vendor prompting guidance
