Act as a web accessibility specialist. Audit my site for WCAG 2.1 AA.
Site [URL or detailed description] · tech [WordPress / Shopify / React / Squarespace / other] · colors [HEX — background, text, buttons, links, accents] · font sizes [body and headings] · forms [list] · media [videos, audio, animations, carousels] · current a11y work [what's done or "nothing"]
Audit:
1. Color contrast — every failing pair with its ratio and a fix
2. Keyboard navigation — tab order, focus, skip links, traps
3. Screen reader — heading order, landmarks, ARIA, alt text
4. Forms — labels, errors, required fields
5. Media — captions, transcripts, pause controls
6. Touch/responsive — target sizes, zoom, reflow
7. Issue table: issue | WCAG criterion | severity | difficulty | fix
8. Remediation roadmap — phased by severity × difficulty
9. 5 quick wins under 30 minutes each
10. Legal awareness paragraph
Label every finding in sections 1 to 6 and in the issue table one of two ways: "checked from what you gave me" when it follows from the colors, sizes, forms, media and description I supplied, or "must be tested on the live site" when it needs a keyboard, a screen reader or a testing tool on the real pages. Write the second kind as the test to run and the result to look for, not as a problem already found. End with a list of what was not assessed and a plain statement that this review is not a WCAG conformance finding, because conformance can be claimed only after the live site is tested.
Success means the contrast ratios are computed from the hex codes I gave, every issue cites its WCAG criterion number, and fixes are specific to my stated tech platform.
Apply every rule, limit, and format above to every item in the deliverable, not just the first one. Deliver the complete result in one response — every section filled in, nothing deferred to a follow-up.
If a required input is missing, ask for it once before starting; otherwise proceed and label any assumption you made.Notes: R40 refresh; tuned to vendor prompting guidance

Do I need a paid AI account to use this prompt?
No. This prompt is written to run on the free tier of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Paid tiers simply give you longer context windows and faster responses.

The date is on each version up top. We check every prompt in full every month, and when a major new model lands we rewrite the prompt for it. One glance tells you how current it is before you paste.
