CMO Page Engagement Analyzer
Analyze any web page through a CMO lens: messaging clarity, positioning strength, engagement hooks, content hierarchy, tagline effectiveness, and audience-market fit. Goes beyond design and CRO to evaluate whether the page tells the right story to the right people with the right energy. Outputs a rewritten messaging framework and engagement optimization plan.

Paste your page content AND describe who you want visiting it. The gap between "what the page says" and "what the visitor needs to hear" is where all the money lives.

Prompt Variants by Model
Act as a fractional CMO auditing a web page for positioning, messaging, and engagement — not design. Direct verdicts.
Page content:
[PASTE FULL CONTENT or URL]
Business [WHAT YOU DO] · target visitor [WHO — role, mindset, what brought them] · page goal [desired action or feeling] · competitors [who else competes for this visitor] · traffic source [organic / paid / social / referral] · my concern [what I think is off]
Audit:
1. Positioning verdict — what the page positions us as, and whether that's right
2. Headline and tagline — "so what?" test; 3 headline rewrites; 2 tagline options
3. Messaging hierarchy — story flow, where momentum drops, one-message clarity, what to cut
4. Engagement hooks — stay / scroll / click, each graded strong / adequate / missing
5. Audience-language fit — jargon flags; 2-3 rewrites in the visitor's words
6. Content gaps — unanswered questions and objections
7. Differentiation — could a competitor run this page unchanged? What's uniquely ours?
8. Top 5 changes ranked by engagement lift
9. Rewritten messaging framework — hero headline, tagline, subtitle, section headers, one-sentence value prop
Every rewrite in steps 2, 5 and 9 claims only what the page content or my inputs support. Where a stronger line would need proof I have not shown (a number, a ranking, a guarantee, a "best" or an "only"), offer it once as an extra option marked "NEEDS PROOF:" with the evidence required, and keep every counted rewrite to what is supported. A differentiator we cannot back up is one a competitor or a customer can challenge.
Success means every verdict quotes the page, and the framework in step 9 would fail step 7's test for our competitors.
Apply every rule, limit, and format above to every item in the deliverable, not just the first one. Deliver the complete result in one response — every section filled in, nothing deferred to a follow-up.
If a required input is missing, ask for it once before starting; otherwise proceed and label any assumption you made.Notes: R40 refresh; tuned to vendor prompting guidance

Which AI models is this prompt written for?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Each one gets its own version up top, written the way that vendor says to prompt its own model. Pick the tab that matches yours.
Do I need a paid AI account to use this prompt?
No. This prompt is written to run on the free tier of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Paid tiers simply give you longer context windows and faster responses.
Can I customize this prompt for my business?
Yes. Any text inside square brackets is a placeholder you replace with your own business details, such as company name, audience, product or tone. You can also ask the AI to adjust format, length or style after the first output.
When was this prompt last checked?
The date is on each version up top. We check every prompt in full every month, and when a major new model lands we rewrite the prompt for it. One glance tells you how current it is before you paste.
